NOSOX brings together two cultures that value detail: London for its heritage and measured proportions, Tokyo for its precision and boldness in small things. Hence the character of the collections: from strict Heritage to experiments in Pulse.

We do not make pairs for the season. Long-staple cotton, merino and innovative yarns, seven stages of control and a two-year warranty: our socks outlive more than one wardrobe change.

Seven control stages

01YarnWe select suppliers and yarn batches: composition, twist, evenness.
02Incoming controlEvery batch is checked before knitting: density, colour, behaviour after washing.
03KnittingWe monitor tension and pattern: the design must be even across the whole pair.
04Density and sizeMeasurements on forms: size deviations never pass.
05Seams and overlockToe and heel are checked: nothing should rub or unravel.
06Pair inspectionManual review: fit, symmetry, minor defects under magnification.
07PackagingLabelling, protective bag and final selection before dispatch.
